Day 1 Nairobi - Samburu - 350 km / 5h30 approximaltely
Depart from Nairobi and drive north of the equator to Samburu. Lunch followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at Samburu Simba Lodge FB.

Day 2 Samburu - Aberdares - 195 km / 3h approximaltely
Drive to the Ark located in the heart of the Aberdare forest. Lunch followed by the remainder of the afternoon and evening to observe animal emerging from the forest to drink at the water hole. Dinner and overnight stay at The Ark FB.

Day 3 Aberdares - Rift Valley - 180 km / 3h approximaltely + 50 km / 0,45h approximately
After breakfast the safari leaves the Aberdares and drives to Lake Nakuru (3 hrs / 185 km) in the Rift Valley. Lunch at Lake Nakuru lodge followed by an afternoon game drive. Then continue to Lake Naivasha (1.5 hrs, 90 km). Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge FB.

Day 4 Rift Valley - Masai Mara - 265 km / 5h approximately
After breakfast continue to the Masai Mara. Lunch and afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Simba Lodge FB.

Day 5 Masai Mara
Full day in the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Simba Lodge FB.

Day 6 Masai Mara - Nairobi - 280 km / 5h approximately
After breakfast the safari returns to Nairobi.

The Ark
Set in the heart of the Aberdare National Park, iconic and yes, quirky. The Ark overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of awesome wildlife. Modelled after Noah's Ark, The Ark has four viewing decks with balconies and lounges to provide superb game viewing from the comfort of the lodge. The animals come to you!

Lake Naivasha Simba lodge
Located 90 minutes away from Nairobi by road, Naivasha has long been the place for those seeking to get away from it all.

The lodge consists of 70 superior guest rooms furnished with wrought iron and mahogany furniture and have a step-down sitting area with television. They are clustered in blocks of 10 rooms, with 6 on the ground flour and 4 on the top.

The middle two rooms on the top floor have interconnecting facilities, making it convenient for those with families. The end rooms on either side of the block also have extra open air showers. The hotel offers Lake Frontage with direct access to private jetty. A sunset cruise by boat will give you breathtaking views and allow you to get closer to the water animals. Fishing is allowed during six months a year and you can catch carp, tilapia and the occasional black bass.

Mara Simba Lodge
The Mara Simba lodge sits overlooking a dramatic bend on the bank of the Talek, a tributary of the Mara River, gently blending into the surrounding wilderness. The lodge was conceived with an emphasis on exclusivity and comfort. It was designed to complement its surroundings and is decorated in Maasai traditional style. Wide, well-lit pathways connect the Public areas and rooms.

The 84 guest rooms, arranged in clusters of 6 in each natural wood and stone Banda (4 rooms on the ground floor, 2 interconnecting rooms on the first floor) comprise 60 twin rooms, 12 double, 4 double + single and 8 triple rooms.

Samburu National Reserve
Samburu National Reserve is situated in the hot and arid fringes of Kenya's vast Northern Frontier District. The area is home to the Samburu tribe, pastoral relatives of the Masai. The landscape is rugged and dramatic - against a backdrop of volcanic mountains, gaunt hills and withered scrub tree punctuate the sparse and dry terrain with clusters of the incredibly hardy desert rose providing the occasional flash of vivid colour. The Ewaso Nyiro river, lifeline of the area, runs along the southern boundary dividing Samburu from Buffalo Springs Reserve. Crocodile and hippo share the river with the many small herds of elephant which bathe and frolic in the muddy brown waters during the heat of the day before returning later to browse on the lush vegetation of the riverine forest. Buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah and plains game may also be seen but a special feature of this Reserve are the various species of game unique to these northern parks - Beisa oryx, the long necked gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe and the blue shanked Somali ostrich.Samburu.

Animals: Over 50 species of large mammals including reticulated giraffe, grevys zebra, elephant oryx, somali ostrich, hippo, crocodiles, gemuk, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena. Large flocks of helmeted and vulturine guinea fowls are a common attraction.
Major attractions: The reserve has unique landscapes of rounded and rugged hills and undulating plains.


Lake Nakuru National Park

The park lies in Central Kenya, 140km north-west of Nairobi, in Nakuru district of the Rift Valley Province. The ecosystem comprises of the lake, surrounded by mainly wooded and bushy grasslands. The park supports a wide ecological diversity with Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds being the major attractions of the area. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including the white rhino and buffaloes and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species.

Major attractions: Unique vegetation: About 550 different plant species including the unique and biggest euphorbia forest in Africa, Picturesque landscape and yellow acacia woodlands.


Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Maasai Mara is situated in south-west Kenya and is one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves. Together with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania it forms Africa’s most diverse, incredible and most spectacular eco-systems and possibly the world’s top safari big game viewing eco-system. Made famous by the abundance of the big cats, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and the Great Wildebeest Migration and the Maasai people, well known for their distinctive custom and dress. There is a wide selection of places to stay in and around the Maasai Mara and the conservancies surrounding it . The conservancies surrounding the Maasai Mara have restricted number of vehicles allowing a more private game viewing of wildlife. The Maasai Mara Ecosystem (see our map) holds one of the highest lion densities in world and this is where over TWO MILLION Wildebeest, Zebra and Thomsons Gazelle migrate annually. Maasai Mara National Reserve stretches 1,510 sq km (580 sq miles) and raises 1,500-2,170 meters above sea level. It hosts over 95 species of mammals and 570 recorded species of birds. With the wildebeest migration in JULY – OCTOBER, this is the best time to see this incredible movement of animals. The Maasai Mara is an all year round destination with the big cats, and all the big game still in the Maasai Mara Ecosystem. .
